Nelly Korda returns and Cameron Young debuts in the 2026 PNC Championship field

The PNC Championship added Korda, Young, Annika Sörenstam and five more teams on Wednesday. With Izzi Stricker and Christina Langer also in, the Orlando event will have more women in its field than ever.

  • The PNC Championship announced its next batch of teams on Wednesday, and two of the names are near the top of the world rankings. World No. 1 Nelly Korda returns with her father, Petr, for her sixth start. World No. 4 Cameron Young makes his debut with his father, David.

  • The tournament's release also confirmed Annika Sörenstam with her son Will McGee for a fourth straight year, Steve Stricker with his daughter Izzi and six-time winner Bernhard Langer with his daughter Christina. Korda, Sörenstam, Izzi Stricker and Christina Langer give the event the most women it has ever had in the field.

"It is fantastic to see more women participating in the PNC Championship this year," Sörenstam said in the release.

  • Young's first one

Young, 29, got in by winning the Players Championship in March. He also won the first Cadillac Championship in May, by six shots over Scottie Scheffler. Golfweek notes that David Young is a longtime PGA professional who used to work at Sleepy Hollow Country Club in New York.

"It's a unique event where I have the opportunity to compete alongside my father against an incredible field," Young said.

    Who else is in

Wednesday's group also includes David Duval, a past PNC winner, Trevor Immelman, Nick Price and Lee Trevino, who has played every edition since the event started in 1995. They join three teams announced earlier: Brooks Koepka, who debuts with his father, Bob; Langer; and defending champion Matt Kuchar, who won last year with son Cameron and returns with his 17-year-old son, Carson, according to Reuters.

  • Nine teams are still to be named for the 20-team field. Golfweek has reported, citing sources, that the tournament is holding a spot for Tiger Woods and his son Charlie if Woods is healthy enough to play.

The format stays the same: a two-day, 36-hole scramble for the Willie Park Trophy. Pros must have won a major or the Players, and their partners can't hold status on a professional tour.

    How to watch

The event runs December 17-20 at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club at Grande Lakes in Orlando, with TV on NBC, Golf Channel and Peacock. Tickets are on sale through the tournament site, and organizers say capacity is limited.
