System Requirements

Hardware specs and performance optimization

What are the minimum PC requirements?

Minimum: Windows 10/11, Intel i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 (6th gen+), 8GB RAM, GTX 1060 or RX 580 (4GB VRAM), 50GB storage. Recommended: i7/Ryzen 7, 16GB RAM, RTX 2060 or RX 5700 XT. For 4K or maximum graphics, consider RTX 3070+ or RX 6800+.

What PC specs do I need for 1080p gameplay?

For 1080p Standard Settings: RTX 3060, RX 6600, RX 6700-XT, or RTX 4060 GPU; 16GB RAM; Intel i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 CPU; 20GB storage. For 1080p Ultra: RTX 3060-Ti, RX 6800-XT, RTX 4060-Ti, RTX 3070, or better with same RAM/CPU.

Can I run GSPro in 4K Ultra?

For 4K Ultra you'll need: RTX 3080, RTX 4070, RX 6900-XT, RX 7900-XT or better GPU; 32GB RAM; Intel i7 or AMD Ryzen 7 CPU (i9/Ryzen 9 recommended for multitasking); 20GB+ storage.

Does GSPro work on Mac?

GSPro is Windows-only. However, Mac users have successfully run it using Boot Camp (Intel Macs) or Parallels/Crossover (Apple Silicon Macs with Windows emulation). Performance varies with emulation. A native Windows PC is recommended.

What graphics settings should I use?

Start with Medium settings and adjust based on performance. If you're getting 60+ FPS, increase to High. For lower-end systems, reduce shadows, anti-aliasing, and view distance first. Ultra settings are for high-end GPUs (RTX 3080+).

How much storage do I need for courses?

The base install is ~10GB. Each course ranges from 100MB to 2GB depending on quality. With 200+ courses installed, expect 50-100GB total. Use an SSD for faster loading times.

Can I use a laptop?

Yes, but ensure it meets the GPU requirements. Gaming laptops with GTX 1660 Ti or better work well. A minimum of RTX 3070 mobile is recommended for 1080p gameplay. Avoid integrated graphics like Intel UHD - they won't run GSPro smoothly. Ensure adequate cooling for extended play.
