GSPro’s October beta adds Physics 2.0 and four on-course training drills
The public beta changes the baseline for normal course conditions and adds focused practice inside On Course Practice.

GSPro’s October 1 public beta pairs a new ball-physics model with four training drills inside On Course Practice. The official change log lists version 3.49.11.13 with Physics 2.0, Play Out Hole, Approach and Chipping, Putting Challenge, and Target Golf.
The update changes a familiar part of simulator golf: what happens after the ball lands. In the Physics 2.0 introduction, Simulator Golf Tour says the original model was tuned using firm links-style conditions, with greens that were less receptive to spin. The new baseline for “Normal” conditions was tested and tuned against U.S. courses with softer greens and surrounding turf.

Its stated goal is more natural reactions across approaches, pitches and chips. The channel says further work on a Physics 3.0 model is already underway because course and weather conditions differ.

The companion Training Drills video introduces the four practice options. GSPro’s release notes place them within On Course Practice, so players can find focused practice through that existing part of the software. The two videos explain the same beta release and belong together when considering how to test the new ball reactions.

Read source ↗ The release remains a public beta. GSPro’s installation guide says an active subscription is required, including for users whose old lifetime license has expired. The beta installs through the game; after selecting it, users exit GSPro and restart the launcher to download it. The version number on the startup screen and main menu identifies the installed beta.
Online groups need to coordinate versions. The official guide says beta users cannot play online with people on the current release; players must return to that release or have their partners install the beta. That compatibility restriction matters before changing a simulator used for shared rounds.
The October build also adds user-defined course lists and fixes course-filter resets, shot transitions and incorrect surface reporting. GSPro’s change log and beta guide provide the release details alongside the demonstrations.
