  • Golf Channel is giving Eamon Lynch his own interview show. "Eamon Lynch Has Questions" is a 60-minute show in which the Golf Channel host and Golfweek columnist interviews one guest, and the first guest is PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan.

  • The show debuts Thursday, Nov. 5, at 6 p.m. ET, right after coverage of the PGA Tour's World Wide Technology Championship, Sports Business Journal reported. Golf Channel described it as an in-depth program in which Lynch goes one-on-one with "the most influential leaders and decision makers in golf." SBJ said Golf Channel will release more details, including how often the show will air, in the coming weeks.

SBJ reported that Monahan wraps up a decade-long tenure at the end of this year. Brian Rolapp has been PGA Tour CEO since last year and has led the tour's push toward its new 2028 model, which on Thursday included a reported Visa sponsorship that would be one of the largest in tour history.

  • Lynch has been openly critical of Monahan. After the tour's 2023 framework agreement with LIV Golf's backer, Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, he said on Golf Channel that the tour had capitulated, and in a March 2025 Golfweek Q&A at Bay Hill he asked Monahan why he still had a job. Monahan answered that the criticism bothered him but had reached the point where it inspired him.

The Monahan episode airs Nov. 5 at 6 p.m. ET on Golf Channel.
