Trackman TPS 10.4 adds 128-player match play and deeper swing analysis
The September 23 update gives simulator facilities new tournament brackets while adding motion graphs, calibration options and session comparisons for coaches.

Trackman released Performance Studio 10.4 on September 23 with a practical split in its new features. Simulator operators can run individual match-play tournaments, while coaches get more ways to compare movement and swings across a lesson. Trackman's release notes identify the current TPS build as 10.4.81, and its support page lists 10.4 as the latest download.
The headline addition for facilities is a bracket of up to 128 players. An operator can seed the field manually, randomly or by handicap; the software creates rounds and advances winners. Players meet head-to-head in the same bay, and a tied match goes to a playoff. That setup could make a facility championship easier to administer, although Trackman has not published results from a live tournament using the new format. The company's feature guide specifies that the tournaments use VG3+ courses, a useful compatibility check before an operator schedules one.
Coaches get a more detailed view of 3D Motion Analysis. New Rotations and Translations graphs follow body movement through the swing, with curves that can be switched off by segment. A Peak Speeds panel shows the pelvis, upper torso, lead arm and clubhead, along with the speed change between segments. The point is to inspect a sequence rather than reduce a swing to one number at impact. These are Trackman's software descriptions; we have not independently tested the measurements or whether they change a player's outcomes.

The update also expands calibration for narrow bays and Trackman iO Duo installations. Trackman's support guide says narrow-left and narrow-right settings can help where the face-on camera cannot see the two closest calibration squares. It advises keeping the standard setting when ordinary calibration works. For facilities with a tight room, that is more specific than a general claim that every bay can now support motion analysis.
In Public Mode, a signed-in coach can compare a swing video with earlier shots recorded in the same bay across sessions. Coaches can also create a player without an email address and keep that player's history on the local computer. Trackman says an email is still required if that history needs to sync to its Golf app or Portal. The distinction matters when a lesson program expects players to review sessions later on their own devices.
Trackman also added a Play Out order for individual Stableford and stroke-play rounds and an estimated default bag based on clubhead speed from a guest's first drive when Map My Bag distances are unavailable. Operators deciding whether to update can start with the release notes and feature guide, then check their course library, bay setup and account workflow before announcing a bracket or changing a coaching session.
