Topgolf and TMRW Sports announced a multi-year partnership Monday that puts TGL and WTGL competition holes in Topgolf bays. WTGL says fans can start playing them Nov. 8, the same day the women's league plays its first match at SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. "Yes, even Stinger," the league posted.
The release says this is the first time guests can play the leagues' custom-designed holes at Topgolf. It also mentions Toptracer Range facilities, the ranges that run Topgolf's ball-tracking system, as part of the rollout. Neither the release nor the league's post lists which holes will be in rotation on day one, so check with your local venue before you book a bay for one.
What fans get
- Competition holes. TGL and WTGL holes playable in Topgolf bays from Nov. 8, per WTGL.
- The Topgolf WTGL Challenge. Play the WTGL holes during the season for a shot at one of three $500 gift cards for official WTGL merchandise. Winners are drawn at random. The sweepstakes runs Nov. 8 to Dec. 23, and the official rules go up at topgolf.com/WTGLChallengeRules on Nov. 8.
- Match-night watch parties at select Topgolf venues, with league talent appearances and gameplay discounts.
- SoFi Center prizes. Promotions for greenside tickets, VIP Clubhouse access, suite nights and behind-the-scenes passes.
Topgolf will also push the leagues through Topgolf Media Networks, its new sponsorship and licensing arm, across email, social and more than 28,000 digital screens in its venues.

Which holes people will want
Golfweek's Nick Stavas picked out two TV favorites. Stinger asks players to keep a low shot under giant rocks hanging over the fairway. Cenote is a par 3 where the ball has to find a floating backstop behind the green and trickle back toward the hole.
Toptracer already supplies the ball tracking for TGL and WTGL broadcasts, according to the release. Golfweek notes the system is installed at more than 1,200 driving ranges and practice facilities.
"Fans won't just watch our leagues, they'll get to play them," said Rufus Hack, president of golf at TMRW Sports. Topgolf and Toptracer CEO David McKillips said the deal lets the company turn "casual viewers into active participants." Topgolf says it wants 10 million new, committed golfers by 2030.
When to watch
WTGL opens Sunday, Nov. 8 at 3 p.m. ET on ESPN, with Los Angeles Golf Club against New York Golf Club (our opener preview). TGL's third season starts Dec. 27.
If you have a Topgolf nearby, the cheapest way to try a TGL hole is now a bay rental. Watch for the challenge rules on Nov. 8 and ask the venue which holes are loaded before you go.
