The PGA Tour: Butterfield Bermuda Championship

    • Where: Port Royal Golf Course, Southampton, Bermuda. Par 71, 6,828 yards, designed by Robert Trent Jones.
    • Defending champion: Adam Schenk.
    • Purse: $6 million, $1.08 million to the winner.
    • TV: Golf Channel, live 1-4 p.m. ET all four days (2-5 p.m. local). Golf Channel's Round 1 window opens at 1 p.m. ET Thursday.

Golf Channel's notables list includes Kihei Akina, Corey Conners, Cam Davis, Lucas Glover, Ben James, Matt Kuchar, Haotong Li, Taylor Moore and sponsor invite Miles Russell. The PGA Tour's alphabetical field list from Friday, October 16, also has five past Bermuda winners: Brendon Todd (2019), Seamus Power (2022), Camilo Villegas (2023), Rafael Campos (2024) and Schenk (2025). Nick Dunlap, Emiliano Grillo, Mackenzie Hughes, Chris Kirk, Denny McCarthy and Taylor Pendrith are in the field too.

Two late changes are on the Tour's media page. Lanto Griffin withdrew and Greyson Sigg is in, and Rasmus Højgaard withdrew and Taylor Montgomery is in. Austin Lemieux, Mario Lemieux's son, got in through the open qualifier and plays his first PGA Tour event.

    The Perfect Lie angle

Port Royal is a Robert Trent Jones design, a short par 71 by Tour standards at 6,828 yards, so expect ocean wind rather than length to sort the leaderboard. If you want to play a Trent Jones course this week, start in our course and designer directory. If you'd rather watch, the four Golf Channel windows all finish before dinner on the East Coast.

We'll post a new preview every Monday when Golf Channel puts out its weekly schedule.
