  • SKYTRAK's version 6.2 walkthrough puts everyday simulator tasks at the center of the update: connecting a launch monitor, managing a bag, choosing clubs during a round and returning to a saved game.

The official video was published October 2. The company's release notes date version 6.2 to September 15, 2026, so this is a guide to an existing software release. The download page currently lists 6.2 for Windows, macOS, iOS and Android.

  • The new connection wizard is intended to simplify device setup. A reorganized profile area groups the account, settings, stats, device, support and downloads. After the first device connection, SKYTRAK says courses and ranges can be downloaded without staying connected to the launch monitor.

  • For course play, the practical changes begin with club selection. If a player has configured My Bag, the game uses those clubs and distances; otherwise it uses a generic bag for the recommended club. The release also allows players other than Player 1 to be added or removed during a round.

Drop options, the on-course scorecard and Recent Activity have been reworked. SKYTRAK lists fixes for saved rounds that previously failed to retain random wind, Match Play scoring or putting settings. These changes matter to someone who divides a round across several sessions, although a release-note fix is the manufacturer's account of the repair.

The notes also describe a Tournament Mode that turns mulligans off and lie penalties on, additional pin positions and hotkeys for course practice. SuperTag support extends to practice modes, with a prerequisite: the tags must first be set up and calibrated in the SkyCaddie Mobile app.

  • SKYTRAK says ground physics and green-speed behavior have been updated. The video and notes do not provide an independent accuracy benchmark, and golfers should keep those claims separate from the changes they can inspect directly in the interface.

ST+ and ST MAX also receive firmware aimed at connection stability. The company warns that Network Mode users may be prompted to reset the network to complete the update. Read that instruction before starting a planned session, then check the connection and a saved round before depending on the new workflow.
