Midway Golf & Games’ par-3 course in Columbia, Missouri, is scheduled to close Wednesday, September 30, because of construction on Interstate 70, the Columbia Missourian reported Tuesday. The newspaper identified Director of Golf Operations Kory Neisen as the person who announced the closure on the venue’s Facebook account late last week.
Midway’s official Facebook reel describes the announcement as an update about the outer road and confirms that it includes the closing of the par-3 course. Its caption invites golfers to play a final round and says the venue has new plans to share. The caption does not identify a replacement attraction or give a date for that announcement.
Mini-golf is staying open, according to a separate reply from Midway’s official account. When a visitor asked whether that attraction would remain open, Midway answered yes on September 25.
