  • Golficity’s first look at the Rapsodo MLM2XPRO centers on an upgrade that changes a simulator round: the new monitor can read putts, allowing the player to finish a hole without switching to automatic putting.

Rapsodo announced the device and its new software ecosystem October 1. The manufacturer says orders open October 15 at $899.99. Golficity’s October 2 video is an early look at the monitor and beta app, with the host saying he had tested them for several days.

    What the first look adds

The review describes faster feedback between hitting a shot and seeing the result. The host keeps that observation in proportion, saying the original MLM2PRO was not slow, while explaining that the newer device feels more immediate in use.

  • Setup is another focus. Golficity shows the new alignment process and describes a top display that helps check whether the unit is level, along with an adjustable tripod. The host also reports that the display provides connection and battery information during a session.

  • Putting, practice and the software bill

Rapsodo confirms simulation putting while retaining dual cameras and Doppler radar. Its new mobile and PC apps will also support the existing MLM2PRO. The company prices Core membership at $199.99 per year and Studios at $399.99 per year; Studios includes the premium 4K course library on a compatible PC. The monitor includes 12 RPT balls and a 21-day Core trial.

Golficity walks through two practice tools in the new app. Bag Mapping prompts the golfer to build a picture of distances through the bag. Wedge Matrix organizes shorter wedge swings and their carry distances, giving those partial shots a place alongside full swings.

  • The host frames the upgrade decision around how much an existing owner values the faster response, revised setup and putting. He remains positive about the original monitor and floats a trade-in program as something he would like to see. Rapsodo’s announcement does not announce that program.

For a new buyer, the first look gives the putting feature a concrete purpose: carrying the same simulated ball from the tee into the hole. The video’s product links and discount code accompany the review, while the manufacturer’s October 15 date remains the ordering timetable.
