Bettinardi released its 2027-28 Queen B Series on Tuesday: five putters across three head shapes, all in a French Gold PVD finish, all with a new face milling called Macro Honeycomb, and all priced at $499.99. Pre-orders opened Nov. 3 at Bettinardi.com, and the putters reach Studio B Oak Brook and authorized retailers on Nov. 19.
What's new on the face
Bob Bettinardi developed the company's original Honeycomb milling decades ago. Macro Honeycomb is a larger version of that pattern. Bettinardi says it gives a crisp feel with audible feedback and sits at the firmest end of the company's current face options. If you like a soft, quiet putter face, this probably isn't the one.
Every head is milled from 303 stainless steel at Bettinardi's Tinley Park, Ill., headquarters and weighs 362 grams.

The lineup
Model Shape Neck Queen B 2 Wide-body tri-sole blade Over-hosel slant neck Queen B 6 Wide-body blade Plumber's neck Queen B 6 Wide-body blade Spud neck Queen B 17 Compact mallet, squared flange Center shaft Queen B 17 Compact mallet, squared flange Crescent neck The QB17 is the new shape. Bettinardi's product pages list both versions at 3 degrees of loft and a 70-degree lie. The center-shafted model has no offset and no toe hang, so it's face-balanced for a straight-back, straight-through stroke. The crescent neck has half-shaft offset and half toe hang for a moderate arc.
Each putter comes with a Royal Navy Honeycomb grip in jumbo or standard size, a chrome shaft and a magnetic headcover.
The honest read
Golfweek's David Dusek put it plainly: "a distinctive finish doesn't guarantee you are going to hole more putts." The head shape and neck still need to match your stroke. The five configurations give you room to do that.
Queen B has been Bettinardi's showpiece line since 2012, and this release mostly keeps that formula. The real changes are the firmer face and the QB17 mallet.
If you're shopping for a putter to use on a home simulator green, try the QB17's two necks side by side at a fitter before you pre-order. The toe hang should match your stroke.
