Marisa Tojai, a 17-year-old amateur from Thailand, finished tied for third at the LPGA's Maybank Championship in Kuala Lumpur on Sunday at 19 under par. She opened with an even-par round and then went 7 under, 7 under and 5 under, ending three shots behind winner Miyu Yamashita. That finish puts her first on our Monday list of young players to watch. Ages and results come from ESPN's player pages and leaderboards.
1. Marisa Tojai, 17, amateur. The LPGA had her tied for second and one shot back during the final round. Malaysia's The Star called it a remarkable third-place finish. She is the youngest player on this list and the only amateur.
2. Michael Brennan, 24. Brennan won the Baycurrent Classic in Japan on Oct. 11 at 16 under, one shot ahead of Keith Mitchell and Jacob Bridgeman. He has since signed on with TGL's Atlanta Drive, so sim golf fans will see plenty of him this winter.

What to watch next: Tojai's next start, and whether Brennan and James carry this form into TGL.
