TGL confirmed its seven five-player rosters on October 20, completing a 35-player field for the 2027 season. Every team gains a fifth roster spot, while three players will still compete in each match at SoFi Center.
Motor City Golf Club is the league’s first expansion team. Brooks Koepka and Jackson Koivun are joined by Bud Cauley, Si Woo Kim and Jake Knapp, completing the lineup that began taking shape with Koepka and Koivun’s earlier announcements.
The league says 12 players will make their TGL debuts in the coming season.

A fifth player changes the lineup choices
The added roster spot gives teams more combinations for their three-player match lineups. It also leaves two roster members out of the playing group each night, making availability and the choice of partnerships part of the season’s management.
TGL’s explanation of the roster process says returning teams could retain up to four players, including eligible alternates. Teams then filled their remaining places from an available player pool. Motor City selected first in each round as the expansion team; the returning clubs followed in reverse order of their 2026 finishing positions after the playoffs.
The league’s new-season date is December 27. The roster reveal settles who each club can select; it does not yet identify the three players who will appear in every match.
