Soweto Country Club
Founded in 1974, Soweto's first golf club initially played on sandy greens, later transitioning to grass. In 2017, Sunshine Tour a significant revitalization of Soweto Country Club, rescuing it from decline. Today, it's a key part of South Africa's golf scene, hosting professional events and pro-ams, supported by the City of Johannesburg. This revitalized club now fosters young golf talents for global competition and showcases the power of public-private collaboration through leaders like Nhlanhla Lux and the African Golf Fund's sponsorship. www.pakmanstudios.com
