WTGL has its broadcast team. Front Office Sports reported Wednesday that Justin Kutcher will call play-by-play for the women's indoor team golf league, and ESPN communications confirmed the roles for Kutcher and Taylor Tannebaum the same day. The league launches November 8 at SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
Who is on the call
Kutcher, a multi-sport play-by-play voice who is calling ESPN college football this fall, will work alone in the booth, the same setup Matt Barrie uses for TGL. His recent golf work has mostly been PGA Tour events, with earlier LPGA and women's amateur assignments.
Emilia Doran, a former Wake Forest golfer, will be the on-field analyst, the role Roberto Castro started on TGL broadcasts. She has done on-course reporting for NBC Sports, Golf Channel, PGA Tour Live on ESPN+ and SiriusXM since graduating in 2023.

The sideline reporter job is split by network. Tannebaum, mostly an ACC Network host, will work the seven broadcasts on ABC, ESPN and ESPN2. It is her first on-air professional golf work. Addie Parker, most recently a travel and lifestyle editor at Skratch, takes Ion's seven broadcasts in what Front Office Sports calls her TV debut in a full-time role. Claire Rogers, a Skratch creator who worked on TGL's digital team, will also be on site, including interviews about players' arrival outfits.
How the broadcasts will look
TMRW Sports produces the matches in-house, so the ESPN and Ion feeds will be nearly identical apart from network graphics and promos. TMRW Sports VP of content Jeff Neubarth told Front Office Sports the league wanted "different voices" from the ones fans already know from LPGA coverage, and that most broadcasts will show a golf shot within 90 seconds of going on air.
WTGL has five teams: Atlanta Drive GC, Boston Common Golf, Los Angeles Golf Club, Motor City Golf Club and New York Golf Club. Each carries five LPGA players, with three competing in each match.
For context, TGL averaged 488,000 viewers per broadcast across ESPN platforms last season, per Front Office Sports. Barrie, Castro and Marty Smith return for TGL's third season, which starts December 27.
What to watch
Mark November 8 for the opener and check whether your first match lands on ESPN or Ion, since the sideline reporter changes with the network.
