Hosel Rocket Golf takes viewers over PurePlay’s Kidnappers in an October 15 flyover. Golfsim Australia puts a player in front of the screen for a full round at Kiama in its October 14 video. The Kiama player flags the putting and rough in his description, while the Kidnappers film concentrates on the landscape.
The Kidnappers video is presented as an 18-hole tour inspired by Cape Kidnappers in New Zealand. Its camera moves over fairways and greens, with the hole map alongside the rendered landscape. The views make bunker placement, slopes around the putting surfaces and the route to the green easier to follow.

Hosel Rocket Golf’s PurePlay Kidnappers flyover
Read source ↗ The flyover contains no gameplay or commentary, as Hosel Rocket Golf makes clear in the description. It can show the shape of a hole and the scenery around it, but it supplies no evidence about shot tracking, putting response or how an individual launch monitor performs. Those questions need a golfer hitting shots in the software.

The real Cape Kidnappers was designed by Tom Doak and opened in 2004. Rosewood’s course fact sheet describes a routing along cliffs above Hawke’s Bay, together with inland holes crossing ridges and valleys. That is useful context for the setting the simulator creator identifies. The video’s description of an inspired course does not establish a licensed or exact reproduction of the real layout.
The Kiama round has a different pace. The opening screen identifies a test course, then the golfer works through tee shots, approaches and putts from the hitting bay. Trees and rough frame many of the shots. Instead of an uninterrupted aerial view, the viewer sees a club swung and the ball’s result on the screen.

Golfsim Australia’s full round at Kiama
Read source ↗ Golfsim Australia says in the accompanying description that the 18 holes were played without mulligans. The creator also reports difficult putting and rough that needed more thought than in GSPro. Those observations belong to this round; neither the video nor its description supplies a controlled comparison using identical shots and settings.
Kiama’s real club, beside the Minnamurra River in New South Wales, describes its course as an 18-hole par 66 with tree-lined fairways. The club’s history records that Al Howard designed modifications for the present 18-hole layout, first played in October 1961. The compact course offers a different real-world reference from Cape Kidnappers’ coastal routing.
For a golfer deciding which course to try, the videos answer complementary questions. The flyover helps show where a hole goes. The recorded round gives time to inspect how a player handles the lie and the next shot. The footage also keeps the hitting-bay view alongside the rendered course, so viewers can follow the player’s swing and the result.
