Foresight adds free Silver and Course Pass for eligible license holders

Foresight says eligible license holders now receive Foresight+ Silver and Course Pass at no charge, with both added automatically to the account that holds their license. A support notice updated October 17 says owners do not need a code or credit card to receive the access.

The company says the complimentary access is already working even where its account screens have not caught up. A membership badge may still read Free, an app may prompt the owner to join Silver, or Course Pass may appear for purchase. Foresight tells eligible owners not to buy that pass through the prompt because it is already included.

Silver includes unlimited saved sessions, shot dispersion, tagging, target zones and practice drills. Course Pass adds at least 30 courses in Premier. Previously purchased courses can also be played there when a Premier version exists; the notice does not promise that every older course has already been converted.

What the terms say

The FAQ says there is no scheduled end date or renewal and that access stays with an eligible license on the account. Its language also makes the access subject to Foresight’s terms and future changes to plans, features and eligibility.

The formal loyalty terms, updated October 16, describe complimentary Silver as access at no charge until the company notifies the subscriber otherwise. They permit the company to modify or end that offer with reasonable advance notice. Those terms also say an existing FSX software license continues under its original purchase terms.

For GSPro users, Foresight’s FAQ says the new complimentary access does not change third-party access already provided through an existing perpetual FSX license.

Owners on Reddit began discussing the notice Saturday, including reports of Free badges and questions about older licenses. Those are account reports from individual users. Foresight’s own explanation is that the features went live before the membership screens were updated.

The complimentary offer applies to eligible licenses. Foresight directs owners whose Silver features remain locked to check that they signed in with the email address registered to their license.
