Cooper Flagg faces his mom Kelly in a PGA chipping contest

The PGA posted a chipping contest between Dallas Mavericks rookie Cooper Flagg and his mother, Kelly Flagg. The family matchup is a light follow-up to Flagg's earlier visit to PGA headquarters, where the focus was cleaning up chip contact.

Flagg has been around PGA facilities during the NBA preseason window, and the association is using that access for short-form golf content. This clip is a competition bit, not a lesson: mother vs. son, chips only, with the PGA teasing the finish.

It is separate from Flagg's Mavericks injury and game news. For golf readers, it is another look at how quickly the No. 1 pick has become crossover content between the NBA and the PGA's social channels.
