  • Bermuda has its result through 54 holes and a playoff still to play. The PGA Tour cancelled Sunday's final round at Port Royal because of wind, so Seamus Power and Austin Smotherman meet in sudden death at 8 a.m. ET Monday. LIV 2.0 also got through its first deadline with about 15 tentative commitments, the Financial Times reported.

Joe Lagowski posted a 47-minute test of GSPro beta 3.59.11 and its physics 2.1 turf types. He likes it enough to call it "Physics 3.0," and he says the hard first bounce on short chips he disliked in 2.0 is much better. He would still soften the first bounce on soft bentgrass (story).

BirdieSense lists its camera-based AI golf companion from $799 on its site, with shipping on a pre-order timeline into 2027. Its metrics and battery figures are the company's claims until independent testing arrives (story).

TPI's Pelvic Punch drill starts from a stopped downswing with the shaft parallel to the ground, so the only way to make speed is to push into the ground. On a mat with a launch monitor, compare clubhead speed from that stop with reps from a 45-degree backswing (story).

  • The Game

Gusts topped 40 mph Sunday morning in Bermuda and none of the 72 players who made the cut could start, per the AP. Power and Smotherman are tied at 16-under 197. The Tour's notes put the playoff on the par-3 16th, subject to change for weather, and Golf Channel has it live. Power is No. 103 in the FedExCup Fall, and a win would secure his card through 2028. Smotherman won the Bank of Utah Championship earlier this month (story).

  • Rory Sabbatini shot 62 to win the Stifel Charity Classic by one over Darren Clarke, his first PGA Tour Champions title. He played his last six holes in 6 under (story).

On LIV, the FT says about 15 unnamed players have tentatively signed on, and Golfweek says BC Partners is likely to move its deadline to Friday, October 30, the PIF's date for a deal (story). Bankruptcy filings also show $15.6 million in executive retention pay as unpaid vendors sue (story).

Put Golf Channel on at 8 a.m. ET for the Bermuda playoff, and check the PGA Tour's X account first in case weather moves it. Internet Invitational episode 1 goes up at 1 p.m. ET. For LIV, Friday is the date to watch.
